Reviews for Spine & Sports Injury Center

Extremely Thorough

Ryan was amazing! I have been to so many physical therapists, chiropractors, acupuncturists, doctors, massage therapists, etc. for my chronic issue and in as little 1 hour I learned so much about my body that no one has addressed. Ryan really listened, was extremely thorough, genuinely cared about my well being, and after 1 visit I could already tell that I’m (finally!) on the right path. Looking forward to future visits and addressing the trigger points (pun intended).

Helping Me live a Pain-free Life

I left feeling very optimistic that there was a plan in place to alleviate the pain I was in. I also really appreciated that the recommendations that were made were within reason, and I wasn’t asked (or told) to stop running, or dramatically change my routines. Dr. Green seemed incredibly knowledgeable and dedicated to helping me live a healthier and pain-free life.

Professional & Knowledgeable

Ryan was very professional and knowledgeable. This was my first visit to a PT and I was a little nervous but Ryan was great and I look forward to continuing my PT with him.

Feeling Really Good

Tracey is wonderful, I’m having back problems, felt better after the second visit. I feel really good about the exercises we do during the session, and the ones I do on my own between sessions. Looking forward to a strong healthy core.

Phenomenal First Visit

Phenomenal first visit. The session was efficient but did not feel rushed. Jeremy is very knowledgeable and his explanations and exercises were clear and easy to follow. I appreciate his attention to the full body and his understanding that I don’t want to sacrifice my level of activity. I look forward to my next visit and feel positive that he can help me heal quickly and thoroughly.

Lower Back Pain

After tweaking my back during a workout, I found myself crippled by lower back pain and unable to put on my own shoes. I suffered for a couple of weeks before finding out about the Spine and Sports Injury Center online. I was encouraged by the fact that Dr. Green was experienced with CrossFit athletes, as CrossFit is a huge part of my life. I knew that he would understand not only the sort of injuries that can occur but how badly I wanted to get back to it as soon as possible. Right from my first appointment, my experience has been incredibly positive. Dr. Green took the time to explain what was going on with my back and using a variety of techniques (adjustments, laser therapy, ART, and strengthening exercises), my back pain was completely eliminated in just a few days. By performing the exercises Dr. Green and trainer Mark Airoldi so patiently taught me, my back actually feels stronger 6 weeks post-injury than it ever did before. I’m now back to my CrossFit routine, albeit a bit more carefully, and am happy to report that I have not experienced any back pain whatsoever. Even after hours of shoveling snow! I would recommend Dr. Green’s practice to anyone looking to bounce back from an injury…the expert care you will receive is second to none.

LiteCure Laser Therapy

As a professional soccer player, I am constantly managing aches, strains, and pain. Since Dr. Santiago has started treating my hamstring injury with the Litecure laser, my recovery time has been really fast. I was skeptical at first, my time is valuable and I cannot be messing with some newfangled toy. However, the results were truly dramatic. I like the fact that it is non-invasive and drug-free. It has helped me get back in the game post-injury in record time and allowed me to perform at my peak, as I am typically pain-free after one or two sessions with the laser. I would recommend this treatment to any athlete looking to optimize healing time. The Litecure laser is my go-to modality for serious pain relief.

Leg pain

Two years ago I severely fractured my ankle in two places. Operations, rehab, physical therapy did nothing to facilitate my ability to walk and alleviate pain. An ankle fusion operation, with no guarantees, was proposed as a last resort. When I told Dr. Green about this during a regular back “adjustment” visit, he suggested I try therapy at Spine and Sports before undergoing surgery. For the past eight months I have had treatments, including ARP Wave, Soft Tissue Laser Therapy, taping and extremity adjustment with Drs. Green and Edelstein. I have been going several times a week, which seems like a lot, but something I looked forward to because each treatment brought relief, albeit to a different part of the ankle and leg. Today (with the help of a prescribed brace recommended by surgeon), I am walking normally with little or no pain. Being able to resume life as it was is something short of amazing. The patience, understanding, caring, knowledge and yes, sense of humor (Dr. Edelstein!), is a tribute I want to share with others who might have lost some or all hope.
